Return, Exchange Policy & Shipping Policies
At Our Stuff, making sure our customers are satisfied is hugely important to us. We understand returns for exchange are sometimes necessary. We also strive to make sure our policy is forthright.
Special Holiday 2023 Notes
We understand that the holiday season brings great opportunities to give the perfect gift. Sometimes the "perfect gift" may not be quite so perfect, and an exchange is in order.
In addition to our general terms described below, we would like to offer our shoppers the opportunity to exchange fashion gifts for equal value through December 31st, 2023. All exchanges must have the receipt and original tags on all merchandise. After that date, exchanges may be conducted for a different size only, regardless of sale prices that exist in the store. No cash refund or other store credit will be issued on exchanges.
General Merchandise Purchased On-line
We love offering great prices on a large array of amazing products. For items that are on sale, discounted or marked clearance, these sales are naturally considered final, and we do not offer returns or exchanges on these items.
Exchanges (not refunds) for regularly priced merchandise will be provided only if the item was damaged, defective, or if we shipped the wrong merchandise. Store credit will be issued in lieu of an exchange if we believe that is the best option. Customer is responsible for shipping item(s) back to us.
A Note About Product Availability, Colors, Fabrics and Similar Materials and Textures
We do our best to make a reasonable representation of products on our website. In rare circumstances, products may not be available for reasons beyond our control. In the event we cannot fulfill an order, we will work with our customers to issue store credit or other replacement merchandise.
Please also be aware that colors and patterns may vary from photos on our website in comparison to the actual merchandise. This is due to a variety of understandable factors.
This includes variances in the item itself (such as hues or naturally varying patterns in fabrics), and in the case of hand-crafted or hand-painted items, these variances are an expected part of the items’ charm.
Also, lighting and differences in how computer monitors display colors can significantly affect how an item appears. These types of variances from product to product are not considered defects.
Important Details on Returns
We allow two full weeks (14 calendar days) from the date the merchandise is delivered (according to official shipment tracking) to return for exchange of unused/unworn items.
All such items must be in new condition with original tags still attached. Please also note that any packaging the merchandise came in or with must be included.
No merchandise is eligible for return/exchange if:
–It has been worn beyond just trying on the item (clothing/fashion).
–It has been washed.
–It has been stained in any way, including from deodorants, food or drinks; likewise regarding odors (such as from deodorant, fabric treatments, pets, cigarette smoke, or perfume).
–The item has been altered in any way.
–It was damaged after receipt.
To Request A Return For Exchange
To initiate a return for exchange or store credit, please contact us first. We cannot honor returned items of which we were not notified beforehand.
Please take photo(s) of the item(s) to document the damage or defect; to help you to the maximum extent, we will request that you send us these. We will discuss with you the best route to return the merchandise and will provide instructions. Please note that the buyer must pay all return shipping charges unless it is clear we shipped the wrong item(s).
What Will Happen Next With Your Exchange
We will promptly process returns for exchange or store credit when we receive the returned merchandise in satisfactory condition as carefully described above. We will then ship the item to be exchanged, commonly with 14 calendar days, or issue store credit when appropriate.
As part of our excellent customer care, we will notify you promptly if there are any issues or questions. We want to process and conclude your transaction as quickly as possible.
Shipping
For many categories of merchandise, shipping will be calculated at checkout. This includes fashions and jewelry, select home accents and similar smaller-form merchandise. We do our best to offer you the most economical and effective method, especially in the current global shipping climate where costs have greatly increased, and even scheduling can be a challenge.
During special promotions, we may offer free shipping on select merchandise, and these promotions will be announced on our website or through our social media channels. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss out!
For furnishings and select other home accents, shipping will be a second transaction after the initial purchase. We work hard to keep shipping costs controlled in the othkerwise volatile market. This allows us to service you in the best manner possible by seeking out the best shipping method, route and cost. This will be based on the items you purchased, your locale, and any other special shipping considerations that will best serve you. Thus, your purchase of item (s) in this category pays for them and keeps them in reserve for you while shipping costs and arrangements are tailored just for your situation.
